Anneliese Dodds MEP

The South East's Voice in Europe

Meeting South East teachers

Anneliese met with teachers from schools around the South East to talk about the work of an MEP.

Anneliese was invited to speak as part of a training day for teachers about the EU and the UK which was organised by Learning Plus UK on behalf of the European Parliament. Anneliese spoke to teachers about her first year as an MEP, her work and priorities in the European Parliament and how the European Parliament is relevant to children and young adults. This was followed by a question and answer session.

Anneliese said “I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet with teachers from across the South East to talk about my work in the European Parliament. I enjoyed discussing how to make the work that I do accessible and interesting to school children and to hear the perspectives of teachers on the EU. I hope to be able to do many similar events in the future.”
